Alberto Makali embarked over a decade ago in NY City's Garment District. Their entry into manufacturing consisted of different driven pieces, and we eventually grew into a supplier of unique women's suits. As the demand for women's suits began to diminish, we branched out to create related separates that launched our highly successful Alberto Makali Sport. Then we opened a knit and blouse division called Alberto Makali Tops, and eventually Alberto Makali Evening.

We offer our clients a collection of women's apparel and South Bay clothing that is innovative, and geared toward a woman that wishes to be noticed for looking unique. You won’t want to miss the incredible opportunity to get a first look at the entire Lafayette 148 collection from Thursday, February 24 through Sunday, February 27. The unique aspect of this trunk show is that, during this time, our customers can come into Jonathan to view this exquisite collection and make selections based on individual needs, whether it’s for career, evening, special occasions, vacation, or just lounging at home.

Best of all, you can order designs in both the colors and fabrics of your choice, as well as the size that works best for you. Lafayette 148 will then make it and ship it just for you! So if you love a particular fabric but not the style it’s featured in, you can select a different silhouette and the garment will be made per your wishes. We’ll have pieces from the trunk show for customers to try on, so you can be certain to find your correct size.
