However, both shades can be worn tastefully and formally, so it’s really up to the bride and her mother to communicate about what the bride feels about the color. You can try one of the delicious sherbet pastel hues that are so popular this season, or a subdued yet stately shade from the silver, burgundy, blue or purple color ranges. You’ll also want to communicate with the mother of the groom to make sure that your dresses aren’t clashing and that they match each other in terms of formality. In an ideal scenario, the bride and both mothers in the bridal party would shop together for this special event.
